Ever wanted to calculate your car’s fuel consumption?
It’s easy if you follow these simple steps:
1) Fill up your car
2) Zero your trip meter
3) Drive your car like you normally for around 400 km
4) Full up your tank again
5) Write down your distance travelled, and litres of fuel used.
Now, you’ll be able to calculate your car’s efficiency.
Divide the distance travelled by the litres used and you will get the km/litre
Convert km/litre to L/100 km – divide 100 by km/litre
For the most accurate results, do this test twice and compare results.
